First Draft to Published

WHAT ARE YOU reading right now? I have so many books to read that it's hard to balance all the writing I do and still find time to read. Currently, I'm in the middle of enjoying, The Thorn Birds and having seen the mini-series all those years ago on television, it brings the book to life as if I were watching Rachel Ward and Richard Chamberlin in their roles as Meggie and Father Ralph. DO YOU LIKE THE MOVIE VERSION OR THE BOOK? Do you like to read the book first or see the movie? I enjoy reading the book first and then seeing if the movie lives up to the authors writing. Some books ending I have liked better than the movie and sometimes I like the movie ending better than the book ending. I found that The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult that I liked the movie ending better than the book. Also, the book by Dan Brown, The Davinci Code, I preferred the movie ending to the book version.
