Valentine's Day, originally a liturgical celebration, of St. Valentine, has evolved into a multi-million dollar day associated with romance. It's the day when everyone is expected to share/show their love with candy, flowers, dinners and other things with their sweethearts. It's the day where Hallmark writes it for you on a card. Whether you celebrate at home or outside of the home, it's a day that can be shared by not only couples, but by families. Children can be encouraged to express their love with those Valentine Cards that make their way around school. They can have fun making handmade cards for mom and dad.
